This presentation takes place via a graphical user interface (GUI). This is where users read required information and enter new data into the system.
A Conflict Resolution Transport (CRT) is used only for add-ons, such as IS-IS or IS-OIL. It is used to eliminate conflicts that may arise between the different support packages and an add-on. Note that a CRT that applies to an add-on release also resolves all conflicts with previous releases of that add-on. In addition, a CRT may include other corrections for the corresponding add-on. A CRT can therefore always be a special add-on support package. Settings for SPAM With Additional Settings, you can access a dialogue box where you can specify general settings for the SAP Patch Manager (SPAM). These settings affect the behaviour of downloading and loading support packages of the different types equally. SPAM updates are an exception; certain settings are specified for these. You can toggle the following properties on and off: Transmission Monitor If you enable the Transmission Monitor, you can monitor the download of the support packages from the SAPNet - R/3 frontend with a graphical monitor. Otherwise, you will only get a progress bar. Scenario Choosing the scenario determines which actions should be performed while the Support Packages are being played in. The default scenario is used to fully deploy support packages; All steps are performed. The test scenario allows you to determine whether a modification match is required or whether conflicts occur that should be resolved before the support packages are loaded. The test scenario does not import data and objects into your SAP system. There is no test scenario for SPAM updates. The choice is ignored when a SPAM update is introduced. Rebuild data files You can specify whether the data files from the EPS packages will be reunzipped each time you try to play. In principle, this is the case.

QUEUE_STILL_IN_BUFFER: The queue is not fully processed because incomplete support packages of the queue are still in the transport buffer. CANNOT_RESET_FCS_FLAG: If there is an FCS Support Package (FFD) in the queue, the system will be marked as being at the generally available release level after this support package is inserted. In this case, this operation could not be performed successfully.
You wanted to rush to release a transport order in the quality system of your SAP landscape and accidentally clicked on "Reject" instead of "Approve"? Now the order cannot be transported any further and will soon be cleared by job from the queue? Don't despair: In this blog post, I'm going to tell you a simple way to get rejected transportation to the production system anyway. As a reader of our blog, you are certainly interested in tricks and tricks that will make your SAP system easier to handle. You may be aware of the situation where you want to approve a transport order quickly after the test has been completed and you have clicked in the system when the order was released. The problem now is that the transport order in the system now has a status of "rejected" and can therefore no longer be transported. In total, a transport order may receive important changes that you would have liked to have transported to the production system. Approach to release rejected transport orders The screenshot below shows the situation in the STMS transaction where a transport order in the quality assurance area was rejected. Therefore, an import into the production system is no longer possible. The transport job can be removed either manually or through a job. The question here, however, is how the amendments which were wrongly rejected can be transferred to the subsequent system. Rejected Transport Order Tip: Leave the status on Rejected, remove the rejected transport order from the import queue, if necessary, and follow the next steps. Switch to the import queue in your quality system. Go there via Additions -> More Orders -> Attach to the modal window where you can perform further steps.
