BASICS FOR USING SAP REPORTS
Standard authorisation
If you want to maintain authorizations and profiles manually, you need to know all SAP authorization components in detail. When using the Profile Generator, on the other hand, you do not need such detailed knowledge. This considerably reduces the time and effort required to implement the SAP system.

In SAP systems, authorization structures grow over the years. If, for example, there is a restructuring in the company or there are new organizations, there is a risk that the authorization concept no longer fits or is implemented correctly.
Automatically pre-document user master data
If you no longer need old audit results, you can archive or delete them with the transaction SAIS via the button (Administration of the Audit Environment). The audit results shall be selected on the basis of the audit structures, the test numbers or the entry date (see figure next page).

The second example requires additional permission checks to display certain documents in the FBL*N transactions. This can be achieved by means of the expression and activation of a function block in the BTE, the so-called processes and events. The sample function module BTE for the event 1650 can be found in the FIBF transaction in the area of Publish-&-Subscribe interfaces (Environment > Information System (P/S)). The sample function module is basically used to enrich data in the item display. To do this, he passes the complete record per document line and expects it to be enriched back. This is exactly what we are using.

Secure your go-live additionally with "Shortcut for SAP systems". You can assign necessary SAP authorizations quickly and easily directly in the system.

This is determined by the function block and not by the developer.

The two paths with the ADMN permission group show how logically related paths can be grouped into a S_PATH permission check.
