Authorization concept of AS ABAP
Do you want to customise the settings for the Session Manager, Profile Generator and User Care? Use the parameters in the customising tables SSM_CID, SSM_CUST, SSM_COL, PRGN_CUST and USR_CUST. Here we show you the settings for the Session Manager, the Profile Generator or the User Care. How do I merge the user menu from different roles or disable it altogether? How can the generated passwords be adapted to your needs? How can you automatically perform user master matching after role assignments via the PFCG transaction? And how can you prevent assignments from being transported from users to roles? We'll show you how to make these settings.

By default, the transactions from the role menu can be found here as derived authorization values. Over the value assistance (F4) can be called partially the available functions fields to these field.
SAP Authorization Trace - Simple Overview of Authorizations
If you want to cancel, share, or reset other users' jobs to scheduled status, you must have permission for the S_BTCH_ADM object with a value of Y. Alternatively, you can also grant the JOBACTION = MODI and JOBGROUP = permission for the S_BTCH_JOB object. The MODI promotion was introduced with SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP 7.00 or can be recorded via SAP Note 1623250. The following illustration shows an example of how the JOBACTION = MODI privilege is expressed for the jobs of the users listed under JOBGROUP.

Make sure that the client-independent tables for logging are always logged when the parameters are not set to OFF. In addition to the parameters listed here, the table itself must also have the table logging hook set; This is usually done with the help of the transaction SE13. The settings are made in development and then transported to the other systems. The SAP standard already provides some tables for logging; For an overview of these tables, see SAP Note 112388 (tables requiring logging). You can evaluate the logging settings of the tables using the RDDPRCHK report or the RDDPRCHK_AUDIT transaction in the SAP system. The selection is made in the start image of the report, e.g. via the table name or the selection of options for logging.

For the assignment of existing roles, regular authorization workflows require a certain minimum of turnaround time, and not every approver is available at every go-live. With "Shortcut for SAP systems" you have options to assign urgently needed authorizations anyway and to additionally secure your go-live.

To do this, click the Permissions tab.

TMSADM only has the permissions to access the common transport directory, view in the change and transport management system, and the necessary RFC permissions.
