Object S_BTCH_NAM and S_BTCH_NA1 (use of foreign users in Steps)
If you have developed your own permission checks to use them in your own programmes or to make extensions to the SAPS standard, it is essential that you maintain the Z authorization objects as suggestion values for the respective applications. Thus, they do not have to be reworked manually in the respective roles. In addition, you have created a transparent way to document for which applications your customer's permissions are available. Last but not least, a well-managed suggestion value maintenance helps you with upgrade work on suggestion values and PFCG roles. This ensures that your changes and connections to the respective PFCG roles are retained and new permissions checks for the new release are added to the applications.

You will also notice that many tables have the table permission group &NC& assigned to them, and therefore differentiation over table permission groups over the S_TABU_DIS authorization object would not work at all. Furthermore, you cannot assign permissions to only individual tables in a table permission group using S_TABU_DIS. In such cases, the investigation shall continue: If the permission check on the S_TABU_DIS authorization object fails, the S_TABU_NAM authorization object is checked next. Allows you to explicitly grant access to tables by using the table name.
A concept for SAP authorizations prevents system errors and DSGVO violations
Thanks to the new feature provided with the Support Package mentioned in SAP Note 1847663, it is possible to use trace data from the privilege trace in the SU24 transaction for suggestion value maintenance. The system trace that you can call through the ST01 transaction or the STAUTHTRACE transaction (see also Tip 31, "Optimise Trace Evaluation") is a short-term, client-dependent trace that you can restrict to users or applications.

Insert SAP Note 1171185 into your ZBV system. With this notice, the report RSUSR_SYSINFO_LICENSE is delivered, which retrieves and displays the user types from the systems connected to the ZBV. In addition, however, SAP Note 1307693, which contains new functionalities of licence measurement, must be installed on the subsidiary systems connected to the ZBV. In addition, you may need to extend the permissions of the users in the RFC connections to the ZBV's subsidiary systems by the permissions to the S_RFC object with the SUNI and SLIM_REMOTE_USERTYPES function groups. If the SAPHinkling 1307693 is not installed on a subsidiary system, or the RFC user's permissions have not been adjusted accordingly, the RSUSR_SYSINFO_LICENSE report in the application log (transaction SLG1) will issue a warning.

However, if your Identity Management system is currently not available or the approval path is interrupted, you can still assign urgently needed authorizations with "Shortcut for SAP systems".

Therefore, avoid that your colleagues do not assign users to a user group, and thus ensure that the user master data maintenance permissions check is correct.

The use of authorizations can be analyzed selectively and exported to tables.
