Testing Permission
Use usage data for role definition
In order to perform an operation in the SAP system, several authorizations may be required. The resulting interrelationships can become very complex. In order to nevertheless offer a procedure that is manageable and easy to handle, the SAP authorization concept was implemented on the basis of authorization objects. Several system elements to be protected form an authorization object.

Since Release 4.6D, the system creates a new folder for each of the roles included in the pulley when rebuilding a Collective Roll menu at the first hierarchy level, and only then the corresponding menu is located. You can decide whether the text of each folder should consist of the technical name or the short text of the role. This function can be disabled by customising.
Authorization concept - recertification process
We would like to point out that after defining and implementing a authorization object, you should no longer change the permission field list, as this will cause inconsistencies. Once you have determined that you want to add more fields to your check, assign your authorization object to the AAAA object class and create a new authorization object.

As an SAP SuccessFactors implementation partner, we are often confronted with complex authorization constellations. For sure: If a consulting company does not implement a process first and the "framework" is missing as a result, the existing SAP authorizations must be analyzed retrospectively and the underlying concept must be understood. Only then can the new process be meaningfully inserted into the authorization concept.

During go-live, the assignment of necessary authorizations is particularly time-critical. The "Shortcut for SAP systems" application provides functions for this purpose, so that the go-live does not get bogged down because of missing authorizations.

This is possible only if these fields are organisation levels.

With apm Suite you will never lose track of your compliance in SAP authorization management.
