Understanding SAP HANA Permissions Tests
Maintain permission values using trace evaluations
For this very reason, there is a solution to automate the checking of authorizations with regard to critical authorizations and segregation of duties by means of tool support. This gives the authorization administrators more time to correct any errors that occur instead of having to search for them first.
If you only want to translate the description of the role, it is recommended to record the PFCG transaction and to change the source language of the role using the Z_ROLE_SET_MASTERLANG report before the LSMW script runs through. The report on how to change the source language can be found in SAP Note 854311. Similarly, you can use the SECATT (Extended Computer Aided Test Tool, eCATT) transaction to perform the translation instead of the LSMW transaction.
By adding certain SAP standard reports and the user information system ("SUIM"), you can quickly identify security-relevant issues and correct any errors. This improves basic management of your existing security concept and protects you against external and internal intrusions. If you need help with your system analysis, please feel free to contact us. Xiting offers you a wide range of services related to SAP Security. Above all, our proprietary security tool, the Xiting Authorizations Management Suite, or XAMS for short, allows you to build a new role concept based on your usage data and even generate a revision-compliant security concept at the push of a button. Native or analytical tiles: These tiles work exclusively in the FIORI interface and are adapted to the new technology. Here, for example, push messages are displayed on the tile, or key figures, diagrams, etc. are displayed, which can then be processed directly with a click. These tiles do not have direct GUI access, or cannot be used directly in the GUI environment. As mentioned above, access to these tiles is provided in a so-called front-end system via corresponding catalogs and groups. However, the underlying conceptual permissions (who is allowed to do what within the functionality of the tile) follows the same processes as in the "old world" for transaction access. The tile in the front-end needs here corresponding dependent distinctive authorizations (keyword: SU24 adjustment). In the back-end system, then again - analogous to the "old" world - about a role, which is built in the profile generator and maintained on object and field level, or set. Of course, topics such as updating internal and third-party tools, integrating cloud solutions, modern hybrid infrastructures, defining and operating ongoing dynamic changes, etc. must also be taken into account here.
The possibility of assigning authorizations during the go-live can be additionally secured by using "Shortcut for SAP systems".
The commercial audit includes organisational overviews and balance sheet and process orientated functions.
