Table splitting reduces the risk of losing a lot of time during export in case of an error. When restarting, the complete table does not have to be exported again, but only a subset. Simultaneous processing of a table by several R3load processes can reduce the total runtime for this table.

Test data is important for companies to eliminate risks in ongoing operations and to optimize systems or processes. But collecting this data can be challenging in times of Big Data and increased data protection, as well as due to complex IT structures.
Challenges with SAP system copies
Different DDLORA* files can be assigned to the R3load packages. The assignment is done by a text file, which is given to the MigrationMonitor as parameter 'ddlMap = mapDDL.txt' and evaluated by it.

With Automated System Copy for SAP, an SAP system copy can be scheduled and executed in a parallel mode, which has the advantage of reducing manual intervention to a minimum. In addition, daily work can continue as normal. Rehau had already been using the software provider's Business Automation platform for cross-platform scheduling of complex job chains since 2004. The existing installation was expanded to include the module for creating SAP system copies.

Tools such as "Shortcut for SAP Systems" are extremely useful in SAP system copy.

Often, the development and test systems of an SAP landscape are far removed from the status of the productive systems used on a daily basis: Outdated developments, customizing settings and master data reduce the quality and trustworthiness of test and emergency scenarios.

Because the reliability is limited by the misuse of the backup system and the storage network is additionally burdened, users should keep the runtime of this refresh variant as short as possible.
